Here are the products I can not live without (and how I use them)
1. Face Primer: Smashbox Photo Finish Finish Foundation Primer in Original
Take a pea sized amount and apply all over face after or instead of moisturizer and before any make up application begins.
2. Concealer: Addiction NV's Rehab in Balance and Addiction NV's Rehab in Stick To It
Using the Stick To It concealer stick and apply it right below and above the eye brow, on the inner corners of the eyes, on the sides of the nose and on the sides of the mouth. Then take a Concealer Brush and gently blend the color into skin. Next, take Balance and apply in with brush to upper and lower eyelid, giving the eye a matte nude canvas.
3. Gel Eyeliner: Addiction NV Line Up in Daddy's Girl
First, take a Eye Liner Brush and dip it in Daddy's Girl. Start at the outer corner of the eye and make one small straight slash line of color then go back to the where your eyelashes start and draw a continuous line, making the line wider as you go towards the end. Connect the new line to the tip of the straight slash line and fill in any gaps necessary. Last, line the inner rim of upper lid so there aren't any skin breaks from the eyeliner to the eye.
4. Mascara duo: Cover Girl Lash Blast in Very Black and Rimmel London Volume Flash in Black
For a day-time look, do 3 coats on each eye using the Rimmel mascara, do not let dry between coats. To transform this look from day to night, add 3 coats of the Cover Girl to the top and 3 to the bottom.
5. Tinted Moisturizer: Addiction NV's Life's a Beach (SPF 20/oil free)
Squirt a pump of tinted moisturizer onto the back of hand then take a Foundation Brush and swirl it in the color and apply all over face, blending as much as possible into the skin. Always take extra time in the area between the face and the neck so you don't see a visible line of color.
6. Highlighter: Benefit Cosmetics High Beam
Always shake highlighter bottle before use to avoid clumping. Apply highlighter in the following nine spots: brow bones, inner and outer corner of eye, bridge of the nose, cheekbones, cupids bow of the mouth, and the chin.
7. Translucent Powder: Addiction NV Quick Fixx
Take Powder Brush and swirl it in the powder, clear off excess by tapping the brush hard once on the edge of the container. Apply powder all over, including eye lids, except for cheekbones, leave those bare.
8. Bronzer: Benefit Boxed Powders Collection in Hoola
Take brush that comes with Hoola and drag it across color once, flick the brush to remove excess. Sweep color over cheeks by holding brush at a vertical angle against the cheek, then go back and sweep the brush over the hollows of your cheek holding the brush horizontally.
9. Blush: Revlon Cream Blush in Berry Flirtatious
Take index and middle finger and press them gently onto the blush, then pat the blush in a circular motion onto the apples of the cheek.
10. Eye Brow Wax: Benefit Brow Zings in Dark
Take Eye Brow Brush (angled eye liner brushes work best) and dip it into first the powder, then the wax and then the powder once more. draw the outline of how the eyebrow should look and then fill in entire area with color.
11. Chap Stick: ChapStick Classic Lip Balm in Cherry
Always make sure to exfoliate lips once a week using a Lip Buffer (apply to lips and rub them continuously for a couple of minutes and then scrub off with a warm, damp towel. apply a Hydrating Lip Balm immediately after), apply ChapStick generously and often throughout the day.
